Troubleshot a large variety of aircraft including Boeing 727,737,747,767 and a DC-9 as well as a DC-10 used in the fire suppression industry. Performed Pitot-static checks IAW 14 CFR Part 43. Versed in RVSM requirements. Ops checked all systems IAW with carrier requirements and manufacturer requirements. Performed ELT and transponder checks. Installed and modified multiple annunciator systems on 10-Tanker aircraft. Modified B 767 aircraft to accommodate an Avionica SatLINK MAX system. Performed A, B, and C checks. Performed line maintenance on occasion in support of the fleets continuing mission. Capable of determining faults through wiring diagrams and schematics and progressing through the appropriate steps of troubleshooting to isolate any malfunction. Accomplished modifications and installs with my team in an organized, concise, and more importantly, timely manner. Able to work well with in a team and set out to accomplish a task with enthusiasm.

Operated and maintained avionics systems on Lockheed C-130H aircraft. Isolated malfunctions in aircraft indicating systems and related components. Removed, installed and troubleshot LRU's. Diagnosed problems using technical standard orders, wiring diagrams and schematics, test equipment and built in test functions. Repaired wiring and isolated malfunctions in wiring and connectors. Bench tested all associated indicating equipment such as laser ring gyros, air data computers, and automatic flight control systems. Entered, maintained and reviewed log records to establish a working record of all maintenance activities and establish trends specific to a certain aircraft.

Instructed on the fundamentals of aircraft maintenance procedures, tool use, theory of electricity, instrumentation and associated systems. Received extensive education in the communication and navigation field. Basic analog radio theory was a stepping stone into further digital radio techniques. Navigation was taught in depth as far back as Automatic Direction Finder theory and all the way through the current GPS and associated systems. Troubleshooting and fault isolation down to the component level was another major aspect which goes hand in hand with using the right test equipment for the right job. Test equipment was taught and then used frequently. Equipment such as signal generators, oscilloscopes, millivolt meters, multimeters, audio generators, spectrum analyzers and logic probes. Obtained knowledge in the full procedure and use of a soldering station. Performed installation of a complete comm system in a Beechcraft U-8. Configured wiring harnesses.
