The Centre for Entrepreneurial Leadership helps cutting edge-schools and youth programs learn from ALA’s unique approach to 21st Century education. We support and scale African Leadership Academy’s core programs, by equipping educators with tools, training, and support to train the next generation of global entrepreneurial leaders. We advise teams and train teachers. And our collaborative network connects educators who want to teach the next generation how to solve the most important problems of our time.

For six years, I have iterated and envisioned a unique model called Entrepreneurial Leadership education and have proven the flexibility and strength of the curriculum catapulting the Academy into one of the world's leading schools. Now, as Senior Programs Manager for ALA's Centre for Entrepreneurial Leadership, I am leveraging the institution's collective expertise (Admissions, EL, Faculty Recruitment & Selection, Wellness, etc.) to exponentially grow the reach and impact of our mission while simultaneously empowering educational and development organizations to expedite their own success. My work in this role has been to develop operational structures and procedures for the new business unit, define and design product segments across both our consulting and training product lines, and finally to lead and manage the consulting engagements for over half a million dollars in client work. Including supporting the launch of three ground-breaking institutions in their own right: Mpesa Foundation Academy, LEAF Academy, and Government College Umuahia

Department Head Lecturer Leadership Coach Curriculum/Program Designer Project Manager Change Manager As inaugural Head of Entrepreneurial Leadership (EL) at the African Leadership Academy, I have led, envisioned and created a novel, innovative entrepreneurship activation and incubation experience for youth ages 14-22, which has seen over 40 student-run businesses created on campus and an additional 50+ ventures across the continent. Graduates of the EL program have gone on to create projects that have impacted youth across the continent already – upskilling youth, championing peace and launching businesses. In the Entrepreneurial Leadership curriculum, each student develops the foundation to design innovative solutions to real world challenges and find the personal inspiration they need to turn an idea into action. Additionally, the holistic leadership curriculum prepares each student to confront the six pillars of personal and systemic leadership -- Self, Others, BUILD, Africa, Communication, and Practice -- as they implement their solutions and become agents of positive change on the African continent and beyond.

Directed programmatic, strategic, and fund-development priorities in the Capital region for the nations leading NGO in the delivery of financial literacy within urban communities. In 20 months, we educated nearly 5,600 students compared to 8,800 in the 84 months since the program began in 2001. This key ingredient — credibility through performance — provided the foundation to generate local dollars by raising $85,000 in public/private partnerships.

Directed the execution of donor relationships including cultivation events for key stakeholders in senior positions within government, legal, and professional industry. Created a fund development philosophy to give vision to prospective donors and volunteers. Broadened the pool of future donors by directing the I4RC Lawyers Committee, a council of partners at top DC law firms; and creating the Young Philanthropists Society, a committee of young professionals, to raise money for the vision of the organization. These new relationships expanded the network of volunteers and prospective donors; culminating in new gifts of over $30,000 in just six short months.
