As a senior developer here, I worked for a Portland based startup, Renew Financial, which offers an easy-to-use financing solution that allows homeowners to make improvements with no money down. Worked on improving architectural stability, upgrading Rails versions, and building multiple POCs related to ETL and Salesforce. The system had around 15 microservices, which created challenges in local development and added unnecessary infrastructure and maintenance costs. I identified smaller services and consolidated them into pluggable Rails engines, simplifying the setup and reducing overhead. Once completed, the engines were seamlessly integrated into the existing microservice applications.

In this role, I: - Expanded the team by hiring and training two new developers, providing hands on knowledge transfer and onboarding support. - Redesigned the frontend architecture using React, Redux, and Rails API, improving maintainability and performance. - Integrated React, Redux, Redux-Form, and React Router across all application pages for a consistent, modern user experience. - Delivered and revamped multiple key features, enhancing product usability and overall user satisfaction.
