Assistant Art Director / Attraction Designer for NickelodeonLand at Parque de Atracciones Madrid / Madrid, Spain Work done at Nickelodeon Experience Design- Orlando, FL Served as Assistant Art Director and part of Attraction Design team for land narratives/storylines, concept art, show set design, scenic/ride integration, and area development. The highly-themed family area includes 10 rides, character meet and greet, numerous character sculpts, a retail venue, an indoor/outdoor restaurant, and a water-play area.

* Decade of experience in the development, operation, and management of themed entertainment for one of the nation's oldest and most popular Six Flags Theme Parks. * Served as: Supervisor, Show Set Designer, Project Manager, Fabricator, Lead Stunt Show Pyrotechnician, Stage Manager, Crew Chief, Supervisor of Technical Services, Master Electrician, and Stagehand. * Created and managed crew work schedules, employee discipline documentation, and timesheet entry. * Determined and delegated tasks for work crews, ensuring the safe and clean upkeep of park show systems and venues. * Acted as a positive role model by sharing a contagious "guest first" attitude.

Collaborated with artistic director and fellow design team members to provide scenic design and technical direction of all production scenery for one of Virginia's oldest professional theaters. Trained and managed novice intern work crew in construction and paint techniques, load-ins, and strikes. Managed budgets, coordinated intern schedules, arranged procurement of materials, and oversaw the safe storage and handling of tools and related supplies. Developed and maintained extensive vendor network.

Served as Resident Technical Director for one of Atlanta's top professional theaters. Responsible for the resourceful, timely, and safe technical production of all shows and special events. Supervised work and scheduling of Assistant TD and team of other collaborative artists such as prop and puppet artisans, scenic designers, and painters. Successfully adhered to budgets while maintaining the artistic integrity of each production.

Award-winning freelance consultant for themed entertainment experiences. Experience in concept design, creative development, art direction, show scenic design, attraction brainstorming, technical direction, project management, and production coordination. Clients include: Six Flags, Paramount Parks, Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines, Herschend Family Entertainment/Stone Mountain Park, haunted attractions, event/entertainment production firms, and professional theaters.

Responsible for highly detailed “visual storytelling” through the design, procurement, modification and installation of static props and set dressings for shows, rides, attractions, retail, restaurants, and area development. Coordinated with multi-disciplinary project teams and vendors to maintain consistent Show Quality Standards within all Florida-based Disney Parks & Resorts, and Disney Cruise Lines.

Performed 5+ theme park shows daily as a comedic gunfighter in the "Wild West Comedy Gunfight Show," “ShenaniGuns Wild West Show,” and "Goofy for Gold." Cast was also accountable for overall production integrity and safety through the upkeep of all firearms, supplies, sound equipment, costumes, and over 15 mechanical and pneumatic special effects.

As a member of the Art & Design team, I am responsible for producing scenic designs and presentation artwork for entertainment-based projects and marquee special events (such as Halloween Horror Nights) throughout Universal Orlando Resort.
