I am a corporate governance professional with more than two decades of experience working closely with boards and senior management in listed company environments.I started my career as a Company Secretary in 2001 and joined Selangor Dredging Berhad in 2005, where I currently serve as Company Secretary. Over the years, I have been closely involved in board affairs, regulatory compliance, corporate exercises, and governance matters, working alongside directors on both operational and strategic issues.My core work focuses on board effectiveness, regulatory compliance, corporate structuring, and ensuring governance frameworks remain practical, responsible, and aligned with long-term corporate objectives.In addition to my professional role, I lead the Group’s CSR initiatives, with a focus on structured employment opportunities for individuals with special needs. Working closely with professional job coaches, I helped establish the Group’s first CSR-driven retail store in a shopping centre, operated by a special needs team. The initiative combines social impact with sustainable business operations, creating meaningful work environments and real economic participation for the community.With a background that bridges corporate governance and social enterprise, I bring a balanced, long-term, and people-centred perspective to boardroom discussions and organisational strategy.
