Experience
Chief Technology Officer
Boulder, Colorado, United States
As CTO of Urban Farms Inc, I contributed to our seed funding round through the successful raising of grant funding. Now I lead our Machine Learning and Robotics development efforts by coordinating a team of software developers and robotics engineers. My other duties include applying to grants and maintaining positive client relations through ongoing technical support.

Chief Technology Officer
Parana Mining Company
Asunción, Paraguay
My brother and I started a bitcoin mining company in Paraguay which aims to provide hosting services for commercial clients seeking to invest in Bitcoin mining. Parana Mining Company takes advantage of the fully renewable hydroelectric power from the Itaipu Dam on the boarder between Brazil and Paraguay to provide our clients with the most competitive electricity prices and facilities suitable for Proof of Work Bitcoin mining.

Nuclear Physics Undergraduate Research Assistant at the Nagle Lab
Boulder County, Colorado, United States
Under the supervision of Professor Jamie Nagle, I developed scintillating panels for the hadronic calorimeter for the sPHENIX high energy nuclear physics experiment. I tested these panels at the Fermilab accelerator facility and then developed an automated quality control test stand to guarantee that all panels we received from the manufacturer were within the required specs. I also developed a C++ algorithm to flag event pile-up in the nuclear collision data sets used by the PHENIX collaboration. This algorithm was pushed to the collaboration library and was used in over twenty published analysis, culminating in a Nature Physics paper.
Education

Atomic/Molecular Physics
Lead the Molecular Laser-Cooling Team at the Zelevinsky Lab in Columbia University. I began as the junior grad student during BaH cooling and then advanced to senior grad student leading the CaH cooling experiment. My research introduced me to hardware such as lasers and laser amplifiers, RF electronics, ultra-high vacuum systems, cryogenic helium refrigerators. My research required that I develop software proficiency in Python, Labview, LightTools/Zeemax, C++, Solidworks/Autocad, Matlab, R, and Mathematica.
