Took initiative to improve several system-level bottlenecks across siloed teams, and developed a scalable calculation engine to process live and historical power plant data: - Re-designed the central task orchestrator to scale from 50 to 10k power plants while consuming 20x fewer resources, supporting the company's growth targets and 10M events/sec - Consolidated the configuration capabilities from three legacy systems to offer best-in-class flexibility and fast onboarding to clients - Created the process and technical toolkit for the rapid development of time series analytics with domain experts - Created a high-availability distributed infrastructure to run and monitor these calculations Brought together best practices, client portfolios and technology stacks resulting from company mergers.
