Sean Rooney

Sean Rooney is the Co-founder and Director at AMIRE Pty Ltd. AMIRE specialises in providing a unique approach to Search Engine Marketing. Previous roles have included managing the SEO (Search Engine Optimisation) department for one of Australia’s largest independent search marketing companies, Outrider (part of GroupM). Rooney joined Outrider (formerly 24/7 Real Media) in February, 2002 as a Search Engine Consultant and during his time at Outrider he has directly managed the strategy and growth for the Australian and International SEO team. His responsibilities included managing a team of SEO consultants in Australia and abroad, global sales and expanding Outrider's business services to additional global offices. Rooney’s achievements have included growing Outrider's global SEO strategy and establishing benchmark SEO standards based on strong ethical principles. Before joining Outrider, Rooney worked as a web developer/online marketer in Ireland. Rooney has a Masters in Computing and Information Systems and began his career as a QA software test engineer.
