Volunteer and Part-time Firefighter / Emergency Medical Technician - Responsible for responding on Fire and Emergency Medical Service calls as needed or as scheduled. State of Ohio certified EMT-Basic and Firefighter

Responsible for budget preparation, financial analysis and variance explanation of long term contract amortization and prestige expense. Performed pre and post analysis of contracts and related return on investment (ROI) and request for authorization (RFA).

General accounting duties including monthly closing, journal entries, inventory reconciliation, general ledger account reconciliation and analysis, financial analysis and variance explanations for sales centers, budget preparation and PowerPoint presentations

Diverse responsibilities including converting Fixed Asset Systems twice, brought new acquisition up onto our fixed asset system, capital budget planning, reconcile fixed assets general ledger accounts to the subledger and quarterly fixed asset reporting. Also assisted with general accounting duties as needed such as month end close and branch inventory reconciliation.

Supervise Payroll and Accounts Payable, Work with the Director of Finance to close the books monthly. Book all banking activity, Do General Journal Entries and Account reconciliations. Manage the fixed asset system. Have been involve with the construction accounting related to our Travel Plaza in Madras, Oregon. Helped open the Travel Plaza in March 2018 and have been involved with the accounting of this new enterprise.

Member of the night crew which restocks shelves with product each night. Move pallets from the back dock to the sales floor, off load cases in specific location, restock on shelves and condition. Also help with cleaning floors using a power scrubber.

Attend monthly finance commission meetings and advises parish in regards to finncial matters. Review operating expenses and revenue monthly against budget. Currently on the Budget Subcommittee. Review annual budget with Business Operations Manager and make recommendations. Reviewed custodial expenses and bids to outsource it starting with 2010 / 2011 fiscal year.

* Responsible for collection of quarterly dues, making weekly deposits, reviewing and paying bills as they come in. Ketterer Company is a small but dynamic promotional advertising company where everyone jumps in to help the company flourish and achieve its goals. Helped take the accounting back in house. Worked with several different outside CPA's. Helped with analysis of financial records. Worked with software company in regards to accounting questions. Responsible for accounts payable, sales and use tax filing online for multiple states, bank statement reconciliations, booking payroll from third party (Paycor), misc general ledger journal entries, accounts receivable deposits and bill / work with our largest fulfillment customer to insure they get the needed information and are able to pay us timely. Exposure to payroll taxes as we transitioned from outside Accountant / CPA and before going to Paycor for Payroll. Assisted with customer service - answering questions on orders, placing orders online and giving instructions for returns. Also assisted in setting up new items in online store in nopCommerce and other office activities as needed.
