Work Experience: Northrop Grumman Corporation, Apopka, FL (January, 2004 – November, 2015). Laser Technician II • Performed functions associated with all manufacturing operations for production of laser systems. • Uses sophisticated programs and equipment to collect and evaluate operating data to conduct on-line adjustments to products, instruments or equipment. • Statically and dynamically aligns laser assemblies as required and is able to perform simple to moderate troubleshooting, to determine if adjustments of hardware are necessary or total replacement of parts and is able to direct rework activity. • Determines and assist in developing/writing methods and procedures to control or modify the manufacturing process. • Able to read and understand basic engineering drawings and schematics. • Understands the theory of lasers and is familiar with laser terms and moderate to complex optical components. • Work with engineers in conducting experiments and provides support and recommendations where needed. • Obtaining or providing information or data requiring some explanation or interpretation. • Supervision and instructions given for work and/or detailed instructions given for new activities or special assignments are taken directly from the supervisor.\ • Cross Training other Technicians on performing tasks and specialized tasks on the TADS and AVAM systems. Metrology Lab Assistant (2013-November, 2015) • Calibrating various types of equipment (Torque drivers, Alignment table’s Optical meters and probes) • Keeping records of Equipment locations and Calibration dates. • Checking in and out completed equipment to there owners. • Tool Custodian for the TADS program and several other labs. • Responsible for maintaining government (Lockheed Martin) tool audits. • Worked with engineers in set-up and calibration tasks.
