Participated in and planned Joint Task Forces 81 portion of Arctic Eagle 16 exercise which is a National Guard-led, Joint, Interagency, Intergovernmental, and Multinational (JIIM) Exercise based on POTUS / DOD and State of Alaska Arctic Strategies

I am also the coach of Highland's Science Olympiad team. On average each year, I teach over 125 students, coach an additional 15 students, and mentor 1 new teacher. I have transformed science education in Highland by creating and instituting new science programs. Some highlights include, changing 9th grade science education into Integrated Chemistry/Physics, spearheading shift in school calendar to facilitate better test scores, updating all Physics education into AP/Dual credit education, and coordinating science education within the High School and with the middle school program. My Physics students have consistently performed above school and national averages on all tests.
