Leading and administering a 50+ student project team with the objective to design, build, and test a rover system to annually compete in the University Rover Challenge. Coordinating weekly work sessions and all-hands meetings as well as overseeing preliminary, critical, and final design reviews; maintaining online communication through Slack and documentation through Confluence. Managing budgets, processing orders, and overseeing outreach to industry sponsors as well as fundraising through our alumni network; Organizing networking sessions connecting members with industry-leading partners.

Created and tracked part numbers for different components using Teamcenter PLM. Developed a test procedure to verify thermal conductivity of interface materials using commercial off-the-shelf and custom machined parts, defining requirements from heat transfer calculations. Designed stackable Input/Output test modules in Siemens NX and prototyped with Multi Jet Fusion 3D printing. Gained exposure to ANSYS Icepak for electronic packaging thermal analysis and authored environmental analysis reports (fluid contamination, sand & dust, explosive atmosphere) to validate designs for customer review.

Learned about multiple engineering axioms such as design, manufacturing, compatibility, and collaboration in the context of a science collection and analysis system on board of a rover specialized for Mars-like terrain. Modeled designs in CAD software, implementing efficient design-for-manufacturing practices, that are mostly 3D printed and used on board the rover for different science tasks. Developed multiple systems for in-situ collection, mixing, and analysis of soil onboard the rover.

Educated school-age children with prepared lessons on rudimentary guitar exercises, basic music theory, and music composition with digital audio workstations and Musical Instrument Digital Interface tools. Developed and taught original lessons on musical scales and rhythm using self-created presentations, helping students translate theory into their own musical ideas. Engaged and communicated with children from diverse ethnic backgrounds through language barriers.

Operated a POS system, stocked items, and prepared beverages and food items. Operated and maintained different hospitality systems, including ovens, barista bars, and coffee drippers. Sanitized and cleaned shelves, tables, and floors. Occasionally helped set up and operate events such as open mics and fairs. Provided excellent customer service and meaningfully engaged with clients and employees.

Assisted in different multidisciplinary wellness procedures including full-body and local cryotherapy treatments. Answered calls and questions from clients, scheduled appointments, advertised and sold memberships and packages, and operated cryotherapy machinery involving liquid nitrogen.

Played lead guitar for the Worship Band of the St Paul’s African Methodist Episcopal Church for Sunday Morning services.

Assisted Joshua Lafazan on his 2021 campaign, who was running to be re-elected for legislator of the 18 th district of Nassau County. Canvased around Syosset neighborhoods to let constituents know about Mr. Lafazan’s politics and agenda, and assisted constituents with absentee ballot registrations. Brainstormed in groups to figure out solutions and recommendations for bills and topics on Mr. Lafazan’s campaign. Organized letters to constituents. Participated in public speeches and debates.
