I was a teaching assistant for Penn State's Geospatial Intelligence and the Geospatial Revolution: Massive Open Online Course. I helped PSU and ESRI staff to develop the course and once it was developed was being offered to students on Coursera I helped by making sure the lessons were polished and ready to be released to students. I would also work through online actives/labs to make sure there were not any glitches and to be certain that students would understand the knowledge presented.

Led project to digitize and attribute a new spatial and tabular dataset for road agreements in the DCNR’s Enterprise GIS mapping system. Interpreted legal documents of road segments in hardcopy, digitized roads in ArcGIS, and populated database with attribute information. Enhanced DCNR’s decision making process by providing consolidated, visual knowledge base and improved resource allocation for road maintenance and natural gas extraction.

I was a JumpStart Peer Mentor. I helped 'at risk' students to succeed in college, I met multiple times a week with my students to help them help them become adjusted to both the social and academic aspects of college life. I would answer questions, provide guidance on homework assignments, and act as an adviser. Additionally, I would meet weekly with program directors to give breifings on how the students were progressing and adapting to college. I would also help to create and organize campus events such as, fund raising and team building functions.

* Assist individuals in obtaining subsidized housing: conduct intake interviews, lead voucher briefings, manage all HCV new applicants, coordinate lease signings. * Organized community events by: mapping parade routes, raising monetary support, corresponding with media, and negotiating with Pennsylvania Department of Transportation.
