About
Across British Columbia, too many people are ready for help but can’t find a clear path into detox, treatment, and ongoing support. The system is complex, fragmented, and difficult to navigate, especially for Indigenous communities who deserve care that is culturally grounded and community-led. That’s the gap I’m focused on solving. I’m the Founder & CEO of CheckingIn, where we build digital tools that connect people to care, culture, and community throughout their healing journey. Our core platforms include: Culture is Healing – a community-driven digital space that strengthens connection to culture, language, and teachings as a foundation for wellness and recovery. Pathways to Healing – a centralized intake and navigation tool that helps individuals, families, and frontline workers find and access detox, treatment, harm reduction, and aftercare services. Together, these tools help bridge critical gaps across the continuum of care, from first point of contact through to long-term healing and reintegration. We work alongside First Nations communities, health authorities, and frontline teams to ensure these solutions are built in a way that reflects real needs on the ground. My focus is simple: → Make it easier for people to find help → Ensure that care is connected, not fragmented → Support healing that is rooted in culture, identity, and community If you’re working in this space or exploring ways to strengthen pathways to care, I’m always open to connecting.
