Scott Precourt

Scott Precourt is the Founder and Managing Partner of US Housing Consultants, a national firm specializing in affordable housing compliance and advisory services across HUD, LIHTC, USDA, and Public Housing programs, and co-Founder of InspectCheck, a technology firm specializing in mobile inspections Scott helped build and scale the both firms from start-ups into nationwide organizations serving clients across all 50 states and 3 U.S. territories . My background combines executive leadership with deep technical expertise in HUD compliance, REAC/UPCS inspections, Section 504 accessibility, and capital needs assessments. I led teams of up to 40 consultants and inspectors, oversaw all operational and financial functions, and developed scalable internal systems and workflows to support long-term growth. I also focused on technology-driven solutions, leading the development of custom software platforms for mobile inspections, automated file audits, and compliance reporting. In parallel, I regularly deliver national training and speaking engagements and have served as an expert witness in affordable housing–related litigation.

Scott worked with several partners from his time at Bostonpost Technology to found InspectCheck, a mobile technology company specializing in multifamily inspections. Since 2012, InspectCheck has grown to serve both conventional and affordable multifamily housing programs. InspectCheck has developed new and more efficient methods and workflows for NSPIRE Inspections, Due Diligence, and a wide array of other professional inspections.
