Scott Blount

Scott is responsible for loan origination, maintaining client relationships, and establishing complementary capital relationships for VIUM in the South Central and Southwest regions. VIUM Capital, LLC is an independent financial services firm exclusively focused on providing capital to the seniors housing and healthcare sectors. VIUM provides FHA/GNMA financing & bridge loans as well as Fannie Mae & Freddie Mac agency financing as an exclusive correspondent lender for one of the country’s leading GSE approved lending institutions.

Scott Blount is a Managing Director with Lancaster Pollard Mortgage Company, which helps health care and senior living providers expand and improve their services by delivering financial advice and financial solutions. The firm, together with its affiliates, offers a full range of investment banking, mortgage banking, private equity, balance sheet financing and M&A advisory services. Lancaster Pollard Mortgage Company is a division of ORIX Real Estate Capital, LLC. Securities, Investment Banking and Advisory Services are provided through OREC Securities, LLC, Member FINRA/SIPC. Mr. Blount is the primary point of contact for southeastern Texas, Mississippi, and Louisiana clients. He has worked on more than 100 transactions totaling over $1 billion in mortgage or bond proceeds, is active in structuring tax exempt bond transactions and has worked on a broad range of mixed-finance projects. Mr. Blount has a master’s degree in business administration from Southern Methodist University in Dallas and a juris doctorate degree from the University of Tennessee College of Law in Knoxville, Tenn. Mr. Blount earned his bachelor’s degree in economics and business transactions from Furman University in Greenville, S.C. Additionally, Mr. Blount holds general securities representative licenses (Series 7 and Series 63) and is a CFA Charterholder.

• Camp Coordinator: Responsible for the camp database on File Maker Pro, marketing and advertising, brochure creation, curriculum, and schedule. Initiated online camp registration with Active.com to streamline camper data input and payments for 33% of the camp. Organized community service events and clinics with local youth and church organizations. Averaged 20% growth in annual attendance. • Coaching: Created individual and team training sessions. Scouted opponents and developed detailed game plans. Assisted in game-time analysis. Implemented team building and mental toughness exercises. • Administrative: Responsible for fiscal budget analysis and eliminated unnecessary expenditures to allow for the purchase of XOS Video Editing System (approximately $55,000). Managed extensive recruiting databases on File Maker Pro. Supervised numerous interns to deliver projects on time and under budget.
