My research focuses on developing numerical algorithms to model the coronagraph instrument aboard the proposed LUVOIR space observatory, which will seek to directly image and characterize Earth-like exoplanets in other solar systems. I am more broadly interested in imaging science and image reconstruction problems, particularly in astronomy, medicine, and the life sciences.
