I am enjoying the difficult challenge of Behavior Health Integration in to a primary care pediatrics office. The children can no longer wait for their referrals and deserve to be seen in a timely manner. Stay tuned as we will be launching Virginia's first Behavioral Health clinic that is fully integrated into our primary care pediatrics office.

Excited to announce we have become a level three NCQA certified Medical Home. First in Central Virginia for a stand alone pediatric practice. First in the nation to implement the ASQ suicide screening tool in private practice to combat this pandemic. Suicide is a national problem and we have worked along side the NIH to do a study on its implementation. We hope to see this done in more practicies. Happy to team up with the Virginia Commonwealth University School of Social Work to embed two wonderful Social workers into our practice. We are really able to help the whole person. We are in the process of opening up a behavior heath clinic that will be integrated into our practice. Children need, mental, physical and social well been to thrive and grow up to be a health adult.

HELP US integrate the physically challenged into everyday life. One way WE can accomplish this is to educate the able-bodied, making them more aware of the issues that the disabled face every day. Another is by actively helping the disabled to participate in activities that would otherwise be inaccessible to them.. Run and push a child in the Prague Half Marathon with us this year! After the race we will donate the stroller to the family.
