I serve as a Visiting Committee Member for the Mechanical, Materials, and Aerospace Engineering Department in the Benjamin M. Statler College of Engineering and Mineral Resources at West Virginia University.

Research, design and develop various production and safety related products in both the coal and oil/gas industries. Create three- dimensional models used in finite element analysis, customer demonstrations, sales materials, and design/development stages. Generate full mechanical and electrical, production level, drawing packages. Collaborate with other departments to offer mechanical and complete design solutions. Assist with software deployment and maintenance. Attend sales shows and meetings to provide technical expertise. Maintain and update customer operational and production drawing catalogs. Produce prototype and finalized products for testing and sales. Build electrical panels and enclosures. Provide analytical information to evaluate total product costs, including but not limited to bills of materials, labor, and production time. Interact with customers to determine specialized product requirements. Assist in patent applications. Create MSHA certification applications and drawing packages.

Oversee production of military shipping containers from initial drawing package to finished product. Verify all material and build specifications are met. Prepare necessary information for first article inspections performed by government personnel. Design and test various prototypes and introduce them into production. Create bills of material and generate thorough cost, production time, and logistic analysis reports. Offer professional recommendations on proposed projects based on analysis reports. Maintain various manufacturing equipment within facility. Form lists of requirements, from customer and specialist interaction, to properly design products that fulfill their needs. Assist IT department with technical product imagery for use in manuals and guides. Digitize prototype products and prepare them for production. Create digital product layouts for customer review.
