Product manager for an in-house Shell web applications utilizing agile development practices. Developed the initial integrated workflow amongst many applications (including my own) by programming a prototype using Excel and OfficeScripts, coordinated the integrated vision with Product Owner colleagues, and presented the prototype to the business and successfully influenced the decision to adopt. Developed the initial draft of the relational database model and proposed to the data architecture team. Led my CGI development team to rebuild a web application from the ground-up. Staff CWI Engineer - I3P and Special Projects

Coordinating schedules for equipment qualifications for Independent 3rd Party (I3P) certification of 20k HPHT equipment for the Sparta project, requiring stakeholder management with service partners, Shell stakeholders, I3P agents, and the Bureau of Safety and Environmental Enforcement (BSEE). Developed a schedule tracking system using PowerBI, Power Automate, and Microsoft Excel. Dashboard provides detailed schedule transparency to stakeholders, highlights problem areas requiring support, and provides detailed breakdowns useful for the internal I3P team. Matured special projects related to Wells engineering, including modifying equipment and installation procedures, analyzing tubing coating performance, and working with service providers to determine applicable limits surrounding single-trip multizone completions

TLP Completions Engineer

Designed and executed well completions for Olympus TLP wells. Utilize stakeholder management to leverage several groups with different areas of expertise to combine into a completion design. Delivered 2 completions to the Olympus platform working through challenging constraints and uncertainties, including but not limited to: a dual zone smart completion design prepared for any combination of 2 of 7 reservoir targets, first successful Shell GoM installation for a service company's gravel pack assembly, and an upper completion redesign 1 month prior to execution enabling a future development opportunity. Developed a PowerBI dashboard for EDM for the Shell Wells Engineering community. First PowerBI dashboard to integrate Global EDM data natively across 7 different instances. Provides data mining capabilities, specific well analytics / snapshots, etc. Dashboard is in the 99th percentile in usage company-wide.

Well Site Operations Engineer

This role served as my field assignment required by Shell as part of the Wells Engineer Develop Program. I supported the TLP Interventions and Noble Globetrotter 1 teams for 1 year each, providing me operational experience with drilling, completions, and well interventions. My primary tasks included writing detailed operation reports, coordinating logistics for equipment and personnel, maintaining accurate operational time estimates for remaining scopes of work, participating and leading HSSE conversations, performing on-site calculations, and supervising well operations. I also utilized my programming skills to create automation tools (primarily with Excel VBA) that standardized our daily reports for routine operations, increasing the quality of our reports while also reducing the man-hours to produce them.

Operations Engineer

After obtaining my Wells CWI Round 1 certification, I moved into this position as an interim Operations Engineer for the Direct Vertical Access (DVA) Well Intervention Operations team, a role often filled by much more experienced employees. My key responsibilities were to ensure timely project delivery from the operations side before executing projects as well as providing support to the operations team offshore. This included hosting meetings with stakeholders to ensure all necessary planning was complete and developing accurate execution time estimates of work scopes. I was also the superintendent's main assistant in a myriad of tasks, requiring flexibility and the ability to handle the unexpected.

Junior Operations Engineer - Cost

During this role in my career, my primary responsibilities included keeping track of all costs being spent on my asset, challenging status quo to reduce capital expenditure during the oil downturn, and providing QA/QC on invoice processing. I also developed automation tools with my programming skills to increase our possible throughput of invoices (approximately by 33%) during a time of crisis when an internal issue caused a massive invoice delay, saving the company of potential reputation damage. During this role, also began the Shell Graduate Program (SGP) in the Completions and Well Interventions (CWI) discipline.

Chemical Engineering Intern

Performed a Carbon Energy Management (CEM) study on multiple units in a catalyst producing plant to find new operating conditions that will result in cost savings while maintaining current production and safety standards. My contribution resulted in projected savings of approximately $250k per year. Aided supervisor in developing a heterogeneous model simulation that will allow a better understanding of the impact of various catalyst properties (catalyst geometry, packing density, etc.) on the overall catalyst tube reactor performance. This model is then confirmed by comparing the simulation results to real data.

Chemical Engineering Intern

Reduced the amount of hoses being used to charge reactors. I Organized the current system, created a general design of a new system using manifolds, and restructured the operational procedure. Attempted to save reaction time by analyzing lab data from time consuming sampling steps during the reaction. Used software such as MiniTab and Microsoft Excel to determine if trends existed and if more accurate predictions could be made using less time-intensive sampling methods.
