Scott Friedman, Co-Founder / Partner, Soroban Capital Partners LP • Scott Friedman sits on the Management Committee and the Investment Partners Team at Soroban Capital, a multi-billion-dollar global investment firm. Scott builds and monitors comprehensive Risk Analytics for the firm, and leads Global Trading. Scott has experience trading across every asset class and all parts of the capital structure globally; including Equity, Fixed Income, Derivatives, Rates, FX, Commodities, Swaps, and Structured Products. • Prior to Soroban Capital, Scott was the Global Head of Trading at TPG-Axon Capital where he designed and led the trading desk analytics/technology/infrastructure across four global offices (New York, London, Hong Kong, & Tokyo). • Scott was a Cross-Asset Arbitrage Trader in the proprietary Goldman Sachs Risk Arbitrage & Principal Strategies Group (internal multi-billion dollar Goldman Sachs Hedge Fund). Scott started his career in 2001 at Goldman Sachs & Co. as an Analyst. • Scott is a CFA charter holder, a FRM (Financial Risk Manager) charter holder, a NYSSA (New York Society of Security Analysts) member and a GARP (Global Association of Risk Professionals) member. • Endowment Board Member -- University of Florida Investment Corporation (UFICO) • At the start of 2021, the University of Florida was gifted the fastest Artificial Intelligence-rooted Supercomputer on any college campus in U.S. Academia -- following generous funding provided by Nvidia, Co-Founder Chris Malachowsky • Inspired by, and joining forces with Chris Malachowsky of Nvidia, Scott Friedman gifted and endowed the first Professorship in AI/ML at Univ of Florida to accelerate faculty work in Machine Learning and applications of Artificial Intelligence in Finance • Scott serves on the selection committee for UF AI Research Excellence Awards in breakthrough PhD research, alongside some of the brightest AI and Deep Learning experts from Nvidia’s AI Technology Center. • Scott serves on the Advisory Committee for the New York Stock Exchange. • The Economic Club of New York - Chairmans Circle, Centennial Member • Who's Who in America 2025 award for Excellence in Finance to Scott J.
