Scott Catron

Scott M. Catron is a seasoned entrepreneur, investigator, and business leader with over 28 years of experience in the insurance industry. Throughout his career, Scott has focused on building innovative companies and creating impactful solutions that address real-world challenges. Scott has developed and led the creation of groundbreaking tools like the “Same Day Video” and the “Gotcha!” Deep Internet Mining Search platform, both of which have set new standards for efficiency and accuracy in insurance fraud investigation. As Co-Founder and Co-CEO of Social Detection, Scott guided the company to become a three-time Philly 100 honoree as one of the fastest-growing companies in the region. This success culminated in Social Detection’s acquisition in 2020 by one of the largest investigative and medical management firms in the United States. Currently, Scott is the Co-Founder of Panga, an AI-powered platform built from real-life experiences to assist individuals with cognitive disabilities. Panga provides tools for organization, reminders, connection with medical providers, and collaboration with caregivers, helping users navigate recovery and improve their quality of life. Scott is also an experienced featured speaker, having shared his insights at numerous national and local conferences, as well as with several Fortune 500 companies. His expertise in business creation and problem-solving has earned him recognition as a trusted leader and innovator. A graduate of Rowan University, Scott actively supports entrepreneurship as a member of the Rowan Center for Entrepreneurship and its Entrepreneurship Advisory Council Committee, where he mentors startups and young business leaders. He also volunteers with the Brain Injury Alliance of New Jersey, helping to improve resources and outcomes for brain injury survivors. In 2024, Scott helped establish the Philadelphia Founder Fridays chapter, part of Jason Calacanis’ Launch Accelerator program, to foster connections and provide support for founders in the region.
