This role requires total responsibility for ABC, CBS, FOX, The CW, Telemundo, and locally produced news and its affiliated station's technical operations, including studio, on-air, news, remote operations, production, power and video/IT systems as well as installation and maintenance of equipment at our main transmitter site as well as 20+ associated remotely placed translator sites throughout Idaho, Montana & Wyoming.

Manage video, audio, lighting, and network equipment functionality to ensure successful live performances and atmosphere shows throughout Disneyland Resort and California Adventure Parks. Developed, trained, and lead diverse team to execute proper setup and strike techniques. Inspects equipment for operational soundness, address issues, and review maintenance for accuracy. Format and calibrate outdoor video mapped projections along with programming video projections and computer systems for internal executive events.

Work location shared between Long Beach, CA as well as Ontario, CA. Led overall operations of large-scale events including initial setups, on-site operations, show management, and strike of all AV equipment. Trained employees in work processes, use of equipment, and relevant safety precautions regarding set up and operations. Determined formats, approaches, levels, and mediums to effectively meet objectives within budgetary constraints, using research findings and knowledge base. Accelerated revenue growth by identifying customer video and audio needs and up-selling specialty equipment for clientele events.

Operated as a freelance projectionist and video engineer, setting up, operating, and striking various large format projectors (Barco, Christie, Panasonic, Eiki, NEC) and widescreen blends. Researched and identified projector calculations to confirm placement, lens size, and type/throw needed. Supported operations of graphics machines including WatchOut, Resolume Arena, and Madmapper. Maintained HD Video and Audio setups for record stations, mobile broadcasting television studios, supporting live show recording and broadcast stations for live streaming. Built influential relationships by offering expert technical support and service, improving client relations, garnering customer loyalty, and promoting inclusive audio and video services.

Directed and coordinated tasks of assistants and other personnel during production to guarantee seamless implementation of equipment. Exhibited keen knowledge in setting up, calibrating, and training on large format Audio P.A. systems along with Line Array style set ups. Installed, adjusted, and operated Video, Audio, Projection, and Lighting equipment for events and meetings. Led production of large events catering to over 50,000 people, setting systems up and operating projectors, video switchers, and cabling throughout duration.
