Stages and mechatronics subassemblies for reticle inspection, CD and film metrology tools. LabVIEW GUI development for test benches.

Developed LabVIEW GUI for communicating with more than 60 mechatronic components in ultra-high vacuum outgassing chambers. Analyzed hardware specifications and selected NI CompactDAQ modules to enable data I/O with components such as thermocouples, mass flow controllers, flowmeters and gate valves.

Assisted Ph.D. student with implementing machine learning methods to predict defect types and concentrations of titania (TiO2). Explored hyperparameters tuning algorithms and convolutional neural network (CNN) visualization techniques. In a separate project, reviewed literature and extracted data regarding the electrocaloric effect in dielectric materials.

Created and analyzed database of exhaust system failures based on inspection photos from the field, synthesized maintenance instructions for marine engines, assisted testing projects on in-plant locomotives, authored testing report for NOx sensor.

Clarified concepts and assisted with homework in weekly Thermodynamics tutoring sessions. Organized additional tutoring sessions for other courses per student request.

Researched and planned 18 activities and 10 classes which utilized the facilities of Macronix's recreation center, in order to improve employee engagement. Translated corporate regulations from Mandarin Chinese to English for English-speaking employees.

Explained physics concepts and guided students through problem sets during recitations. Facilitated collaboration and encouraged students to share their problem-solving approach.
