Overseeing the University of Wollongong’s (UOW) IT strategy, leadership, and operations for global and subsidiary organisations. This includes management oversight of IT operations, programs, and projects within UOW’s controlled entities.

A senior IT Leadership role focused on oversight of UOW’s global IT Strategy, Governance, Leadership, Delivery and Support in Dubai, Hong Kong, Malaysia, India as well as other partner locations. This role is the result of merging my role of Director IT & Governance for UOWGE into my existing substantive UOW role placed centrally in IMTS.

Heading up UOW's Enterprise Architecture in an interim capacity in addition to my regular ongoing role leading IT for our global campus network. In the time I've been in the role i've catalogued and published the first current and future state Applicaiton Porftolio Roadmap as well as built up and grown the size of team.

Senior Program Manager ----------------------------------- CCCU HK IT Transition Program: Lead the program of work to establish a new HK Campus for the University of Wollongong at CCCU HK. This involves leading a team of Project Managers, Business Analysts and other technical subject matter experts to work with the business to successfully transition CCCU HK off CityU HK IT infrastructure/systems/support on to a sustainable and independent infrastructure/systems/support model either run locally or through the aid of UOW or partnerships with 3rd party vendors. Innovation in Educational Technology Project: Through this project I strive to embed quality online educational methodologies across ITC courses by providing leadership, direction and innovation of teaching & training. Reviewed Course curriculum against the National Code 2007 and the CRICOS standards for international students. Redisigned the FSP to meet standards as well as to standardise the credit points/hours structure for transparency in both fee and WAM calculations and introduced new subjects based on staff and faculty stakeholder feedback. Developed Alternate Progression rules to enable students alternate pathways into the University from FSP through UOW College Diplomas.

CSCI124/MCS9124 – Object Oriented Programming. An Undergraduate/Masters of Computer Science C++ Programming Subject.

“An Electro-Neural Vision System for the Blind.” - Roles included work on the aforementioned research project. Such duties included the creation of circuit board kits based on circuit diagrams, testing of newly created circuits, the dissemination and reverse engineering of circuitry, discovery of modulated wireless pulse communication protocols between low power devices and other exploratory research and documentation related to the creation of the final project.

“Requirements Elicitation using Goal-based Organisational Model” - Roles included work on the aforementioned research project. Such duties included exploratory research, analysis and documentation related to the creation of the final project.

Manage IT network infrastructural and specialized licencing requirements for high intensity green laser machinery and propriety 3D image scanning software and associated hardware. Responsible for information management including data retention and storage, security, quality of service, computer and mechanical equipment maintenance etc. Also responsible for daily operations, commercial bulk orders, one off orders, image processing, MYOB daily trade and marketing activities for the site.

Completed the University Learning and Teaching course (8 credit points towards a Graduate Certificate in Higher Education, AQF level 8).
