About

You could say I'm an Engagement Engineer (actually, only I say that). My story line archetypes are Hero, Creator and Caregiver. (that begs additional ?s)Everyday, I try to solve some problem for myself and or others (work, family, friends, random people I meet, occasionally my dog). By day and night, I grow relationships with people who have needs of all shapes and sizes. I'm a cross-fitter, dad, husband, dog owner, board game enthusiast (play #Catan with me, I dare you), and both quietly and loudly in my own mind, a comedian (that's a secret) - last but not least, a volunteer. I help people/businesses with challenges surrounding your culture. My focus areas revolve around transforming your managers into leaders. In doing so, I surround my energy around helping you create stronger employee engagement, company culture, people strategy and/or all of the above and more. We (you and I) do this through one-on-one sessions or group workshops to:A) Help you identify who you are to your employees and othersB) Give you a common language that helps you relate to others in a more meaningful wayC) Focus on the things that will make your role as a people manager better for tomorrow and beyond.I do my best to make a MEANINGFUL impact on other's lives on any given day by doing things I enjoy - helping people grow their business, leadership mindset, and make good connections with other good people (a little or a lot). What’s important to me is providing high quality and relevant information. 3 beliefs I hold dearly - a) using humor in business is ok; b) being authentic means people get to know the real you; and c) providing transparent communication helps build long lasting relationships. In my experience, it has allowed me to build a reputation of trust and allowed me to develop life-long friendships in all walks of life. My specialties include (not in any particular order): executive coaching, culture and engagement, leadership development programs, sales, marketing, public and motivational speaking, recruiting solutions, servant leadership, people management, human resources, interviewing, occasional comic relief, talking tequila (or ukuleles) potential sarcasm, and helping others with strategy and implementation of your project(s). Love it when people ask thoughtful questions, PLEASE include a message when you try to connect w/me.#HRAnthropologist #HRCommunity #ukulele #culturetalk #keynotespeaker Looking for more? https://linktr.ee/tomsuke

This podcast is for those who don’t want to hear all the fancy business jargon, and just want to listen to a couple of regular Tom’s talk about practical, (sometimes nonsensical), real-world conversations on workplace challenges ALL business leaders face. From who wants to work, to who’s running the proverbial asylum and HOW it’s being done, we’ll dive into a long list of topics and industries. While much of our experience relates to business owners and HR professionals (where we’ve lived and breathed for most of our careers), there’s a truth serum atmosphere and chemistry the Toms bring to the table as we talk about the workplace of today and tomorrow. Our guests will bring a variety of thoughtful conversations stemming around Employee Experience, Company Culture, and Leadership. We’ve all sat through dozens of presentations or company meetings that went on FAR too long, with only minute amounts of useful information (if any). It’s part of what the inspiration was behind this show. Our goal is to entertain you, bring you useful nuggets, and hopefully inspire change (one step at a time).

This is my personal, consulting, marketing and curriculum business. It's a small side business that comes into play in an as-needed basis. It started as an opportunity to create custom lesson plans, course outlines, test banks, and other support material. It grew into creating customized course and content correlation guides to illustrate the connection between a syllabi and related materials. My experience with education, training and development is interspersed into my Creative side. Additionally, I advise on sales strategies, personal and employment branding practices, social media, and small business market presence. The name says what it means. Ask a question, then Learn from it.
