Schalk Janse van Rensburg

I am an electronic engineer with a background in the military and mining environments. I have designed management systems for underground rail bound equipment that have become the industry standard over the last decade. I moved my focus to collision avoidance systems for trackless machines as well as scraper winches. The goal has always been to provide high-end safety solutions that are reliable, practical, and ultimately save lives. Further to that, the goal is to use the technology to not only improve safety but rather add value with regards to tracking and productivity. I stepped down as a designer in 2020 with about 17 years of experience in hardware, firmware, and software design. My current focus is managing the R&D team as well as business development as general manager. I am skilled at identifying client requirements and providing custom solutions that can be used across entire fleets of vehicles. I am highly focused and motivated.
