Saurav Jain

I am currently attending the Global Professional Master of Laws program at the University of Toronto, where I am continuing to build my legal knowledge and professional skills. I recently graduated from the University of Leicester, where I completed the Accelerated Bachelor of Laws and Canadian Juris Doctor Program. I also hold a Bachelor of Arts in International Economics and Finance from Toronto Metropolitan University.My experience includes legal documentation, real estate, mortgages, compliance, client service, research, and leadership. I have prepared FINTRAC forms, purchase agreements, disclosure statements, and client files, while also conducting document audits, working with lawyers and other professionals, and supporting privacy compliance under PIPEDA.At the University of Leicester, I served as Managing Director of the Leicester Law Pro Bono Society, where I helped lead legal literacy projects, supported team members, and contributed to blogs, podcasts, research, and outreach. I also served as First Year Representative of the Canadian Law Society, helping represent students and support professional development events.Outside of my legal and academic work, I was involved in fencing, equestrian, and polo. These experiences helped me build discipline, confidence, teamwork, focus, and the ability to stay calm under pressure, which are qualities I aim to bring into my legal career.I am interested in estate planning, in house legal work, policy law, and regulatory and compliance law. I am focused on becoming a practical, reliable, and client focused legal professional who can help people and organizations through clear communication, careful research, and strong problem solving.
