Heading 400 acres of Life Republic township purchase team, responsible for systematic purchase planning & execution of the same. Sourcing decision-making - select the right supplier for right parts. Co-ordination with various departments for execution of the work as per schedule planning/ Monitoring and accordingly making arrangement of required material and resources for various projects.  Lead buyer for sourcing project based inventory, CAPEX items and service requests.  Responsible for handling sourcing of P&M spares and electrical equipment’s such as HV/LV panels, synchronizing panels, control panels, power & control cables, circuit breakers, switches etc.  Carrying out complete sourcing cycle, assessing supplier performance, spend analysis, commodity profiling, benchmarking.  Responsible for new vendor selection and assists in their registration process.  Floating enquiries to vendors (domestic/global) based of exact requirement.  Sourcing decision making - select the right supplier for right parts.  Managing vendor relations / improvement in their performance on quality and delivery.  Controlling the purchasing budgets parallel with estimated budgets with alternative options for material grade & alternate vendors.  Executes e-bidding of material / transport / scrap material for various L&T sites.  Arrangement of goods transportation as per site request. Negotiate with transport vendors, issuing transport work order to transporter.  Preparing cost reduction strategy to reduce the operational cost.  Challenged to ensure timely delivery of equipment and materials as per specification within the set quality and timely delivery of material.  Ensuring (quality, cost & delivery) according to set organizational parameter.  Compilation of all sites cost saving reports, lead time analysis report to present in monthly SCM review meeting with Chennai HQ.  Hands on experience of EIP system.

Handling Procurement for all Mega Iconic Infrastructure Projects such as Kakrapar Nuclear Plant, Ahmedabad Metro, Chatrapati Shivaji Statue, MTHL Pkg 3, Thane Creek Bridge, Mumbai Coastal Road, Goa Mandovi Bridge, Karwar Seabird Port in Western Region of India from Mumbai Cluster Office. Lead buyer for procurement of project based inventory, CAPEX / OPEX items and service requests finalization. Responsible for purchase of P&M spares, lubricants and electrical equipment’s such as HV/LV panels, synchronizing panels, control panels, motors, VFD’s, power & control cables, circuit breakers, distribution boards, switches etc. Responsible for carrying out complete sourcing cycle, assessing supplier performance, spend analysis, commodity profiling, benchmarking.  Responsible for new part development, capital item purchase and contract services.  Responsible for sourcing of components for various electrical and mechanical equipment’s like HT/LT switchgear panels, control panels, switchgears, transformers, motors, cables/wires, relays, switches, fuses, MCB’s, compressors, boilers, pumps etc.  Finalizing service level agreements for various plant utility services such as operation and maintenance contracts, project work contracts etc.  Preparing RFQ and forwarding it to relevant suppliers to obtain quotation through portal.  Managing vendor relations / improvement in their performance on quality and delivery.

 Prepare, review and submission of weekly / monthly cost reports.  Review all PO’s as issued for cost committed.  Maintaining ISO documentation, record keeping and suppliers/manufacturers data bank records.  Keeping the track various financials such as cash flow, claim statuses, billing information, receivables, liabilities, profitability.  Reviewing and assisting in approving subcontractor’s invoices.  Overall monitoring project costing and maintaining it within limit.
