Based on the results of tol. stacks and cust. req. defined GD&T and SCs for the components prints. Performed CAE (Abaqus) analysis including pre­processing, post processing and analysis for concept verification. Created and maintained DFMEA in accordance with AIAG standard. Conducted DFM/DFA reviews with component/tooling suppliers to resolve issues before drawing release. Created standard procedures and manuals for design engineers to follow.

Worked on creating CAD models for instrument clusters. Prepared part prints with GD&T. Prepared hand mock-up samples for concept prove-out. Measured illumination chromaticity and intensity.

Provide tutorial support to a class of 200 students in Introduction to Dynamics. Conduct review sessions on weekly basis and office hours to solve students' doubts.

Performed functional and destructive tests on a variety of solenoids. Worked extensively on prototype building and mechanical development.Build fixtures for testing. Conducted manufacturing trial runs and suggested design changes based on results of trial runs. Conducted benchmarking analysis on competitor solenoid to identify potential design changes. Attended design reviews and concept development meetings. Performed CAD modeling and ran mold flow analysis for a variety of overmolded parts on AutoDesk Inventor.

Worked in Quality Assurance department. Was responsible for reducing defects per vehicle figure. Used Hinshitsu Hozen Methodology for defect prevention and control. Maintained defect data on a daily basis and performed root cause analysis for every defect with more than 6 severity. Solved over 6 major in house and field concerns. Brought down defects per vehicle from 1.35 - 1.02
