World Sacred Music Festival
Conceived and created the World Sacred Music Festival, held annually in Olympia, Washington 2004-2010. In addition to selecting and scheduling the performances and workshops, I maintained the website and worked with others on finances, sponsorships, and promotions. The all-day festival included dozens of performers and workshops, ethnic food, sacred art, and related activities. The festival served as a regional draw for performers and audience alike in its mission to celebrate the sacred through the music and dance of diverse spiritual traditions. Responsible for establishing and maintaining contacts with record labels and distribution companies, acquiring CDs for the station, maintaining “world” section of music library, and coordinating promotions of local performances, including artist interviews and on-air performances. Also compiled weekly Top 10 World Music and Top 5 New World Adds charts, posted at CMJ and at at http://spintheglobe.earball.net

Programming and Development Assistant / Acting Training & Operations Manager
KAOS-fm
Supervised the station’s volunteer programmers, trained new volunteers, and maintained communication with the nearly 100 volunteers and professional and student staff. Was responsible for daily station operations, ensuring compliance with FCC regulations, and maintaining the station’s on-air logs. Assisted other staff with programming and development, editing the KAOS Program Guide, producing on-air spots, and leading a Web site redesign.

Interfaith Works
Responsible for planning, oversight, budget, and direction of projects and programs for this regional interfaith organization. Initiated, planned, and served as music director for Olympia’s annual World Sacred Music Festival. Developed, organized, and facilitated the ongoing Study Circles for Interfaith Dialogue.
