Auckland Tourism, Events and Economic Development (ATEED) is a council-controlled organisation, which will help lift the Auckland region's economic wellbeing, and support and enhance the ability of the region to compete internationally. The organisation had a significant role in attracting and planning for major events, like Rugby World Cup 2011. In line with the Major Events Protocol, I was contracted in to streamline the regulatory process for event organisers in Auckland City making the process event friendly and more easily navigated.
