Provided math and chemistry tutoring to elementary through high school students with emphasis on preparation for math SAT, math and science ACT, and AP Chemistry exams.

Assisted in a field project that included well sampling at a Tucson International Airport Superfund site.

Participated in a soil sampling project of agricultural fields in Bakersfield, CA and was responsible for auger soil removal, soil homogenization, and sampling as per EPA guidelines. Additionally, I helped to ensure procedures followed to prevent sample and equipment contamination while providing troubleshooting assistance as needed.

Conducted research on potential transport of the nano-scale colloidal material from land applied biosolids into the subsurface environment. -Specific research focus was on transport of a nano-scale aluminum oxide through porous media and the impact ionic strength, pH, aqueous phase concentration, and hydraulic residence time has on said transport. -Additionally, provided training, feedback, and support to undergraduate and graduate students performing experiments within the lab.
