I am a Data and AI Engineer currently pursuing my M.S. in Management Information Systems at Texas A&M University, Mays Business School. I enjoy building scalable data and AI systems that turn raw information into reliable insights and real operational impact. I previously worked at HDFC Bank as a Data Analytics Engineer, where I built time-series forecasting models to predict hiring demand across 150+ roles and multiple business verticals using large-scale employee lifecycle data. I designed Python-based ETL pipelines and Power BI dashboards that helped leadership track workforce metrics in real time and reduced average hiring timelines by nearly 45%. I also automated credit and operational workflows using RPA, eliminating hours of manual reporting and reducing human error. Earlier at HDFC Bank, I worked as a Data Intern, applying NLP techniques on large volumes of underwriter comments to extract actionable insights for credit decisioning. By automating deviation–mitigant mapping through Python, I helped reduce loan application turnaround time and improve consistency in credit evaluations. Alongside industry work, I explored applied AI research at VJTI’s CoE-CNDS Lab. There, I contributed to pre-training and instruction-tuning a 1.3B-parameter Indic language model, working with large multilingual corpora, GPU clusters, and parameter-efficient fine-tuning techniques. This experience deepened my understanding of large language models beyond APIs, from data curation to evaluation and optimization. At Texas A&M, I continue to build end-to-end systems through hands-on projects, including an AI-powered engagement platform for the MIS Council, and a high-availability data infrastructure on AWS for E-commerce platform. I enjoy working across the stack, from databases and cloud infrastructure to data pipelines and user-facing applications.
