Sarah Iden Mackey

I work at the intersection of higher education, global partnerships, and data - helping institutions navigate complex questions around enrollment, growth, and market positioning. My background spans both sides of the table: I started in university admissions and leadership roles at University of Cincinnati and Northeastern, and now am a leader in strategic partnerships at IDP Education. What sets my perspective apart is that I understand how universities actually make decisions, and how to deliver solutions that drive measurable outcomes. Lately, I’ve been especially interested in how AI and shifting labor market demands are reshaping higher education. As an English Literature major (with a long memory of being told that was a questionable life choice), I care deeply about how we define value - and how skills like critical thinking, discernment, and communication show up in an AI-driven world.
