To provide counseling services to special education students. Act as a liaison for students in need of speech, language or other forms of therapy. Assist the teacher with writing goals and objectives for student individualized education plans and consult on BIPs. Communicate effectively with co-workers, parents, students and collaborate with outside agencies.

Provide direct services to middle school students (curriculum, instruction and behavior management). Case manager to special education students, compose and attend IEP’s for students. Trained in Trauma Informed Care, Suicide Prevention, and Crisis Intervention.

Supervise staff and clients in a residential care setting according to company procedures. Perform clerical duties, manage daily activities, schedule appointments, and communicate with parents, school administration, social workers, and supervisors. Provide support with educational and vocational needs of high school age clients.

* Work with foster youth in a residential care setting ensuring their physical, emotional, medical and mental well-being. * Prepare meals, perform housekeeping duties, and administer medications as prescribed. * Provide crisis prevention intervention, document client daily activities, behavioral and incident reports.

Assist certificated teaching staff with the presentation of learning materials. Assist individuals or small groups of students with academics, social skills and the achievement of goals; reinforce instruction to individuals or small groups. Observe and manage behavior of students, supervise students in the classroom, transport, lift and provide crisis intervention.
