Steam was holding a competition for creating the best merchandise idea for Team Fortress 2 and I was hired to draw out an idea for a shirt.

I joined a competition that was held for 1 month. The goal of the competition was to build a game within that month and present it. Judges will then try out the game and determine the winner. Around 800 games were submitted and my game stood at the top 20 most voted games. I worked alone for two weeks and shared my game to close friends and family. I thought of the story, made some sprites, and drew out the characters and the rest of the art. It was a lot of work but I enjoyed it. I made 3D models and unwrapped them using 3D Studio Max. I made textures using Adobe Photoshop CS6 and applied to the models. Learned storyboarding and character development. Had to show a demo of the story by briefly learning Adobe Flash and presenting a simple flash animation. I coded many games starting from simples ones likes brick breaker and puzzle games to more complex games like a Zelda-themed RPG. Most projects involved me creating all of the assets like the models and textures. I did some shader coding and AI at the later trimesters. I did Networking and also worked with Unreal Engine.
