I am the People in Deals Lead partner for PwC UK and a member of PwC's Deals Line of Service Leadership team. I have over 20 years of people consulting experience and advise global corporate and private equity clients on the people implications of transactions, restructuring and change. My areas of expertise are people strategy, culture, pre / post deal integration and workforce transformation. The fundamental importance of people and culture in deal value delivery is underlined in far-reaching research we’ve carried out with Mergermarket into why some transactions succeed and others fail. I believe this focus is vital - having key talent who are engaged and involved in delivering deal value is a necessity for success. As PwC Deals’ Chief People Officer, I am also responsible for delivering on our firmwide and Deals people strategy. I love being able to combine my client facing skills with my internal role – it’s the best of both worlds where I am able to focus on social mobility, inclusion and creating a great deal for our people.
