Compiled bilingual research as curatorial assistant to Chief Curator Qiu Zhijie about artists for the main theme exhibition; translated and edited texts from Chinese to English for the Biennale website, outreach and publicity materials, information for sponsors, media articles and interviews with the curators, letters of invitation to collectors and artists, and general visitor information for the new Power Station of Art; translated to and from English and Chinese for visiting international curators and artists and the City Pavilion Project’s cities’ local consulates in Shanghai, assisted with installation, and managed opening week events.

* Selected works and designed exhibition layout for Allegory and Illusion: Early Portrait Photography from South Asia and Francesco Clemente: Inspired by India with RMA curators * researched Tibetan, Chinese, and Mongolian contemporary artists for future exhibitions * catalogued works in museum databases * researched and selected artists for Artists on Art lecture series * compiled request list and prepared PowerPoint presentation for contemporary Himalayan works to add to RMA collection.

* Curated and designed shows every two months with EK Fine Art owner (gallery specializes in Chinese contemporary art) * organized installation * updated gallery database * wrote press releases * managed gallery social media * translated artist statements and contracts from Chinese to English * met with Chinese-speaking clients and gallery visitors to discuss works on view.

* Wrote press releases about Arthub’s publications and projects * added content to AA’s website and managed its social media * prepared and edited proposals and PowerPoint presentations about new curatorial collaborations * translated materials to and from English and Chinese * liaised between Chinese curators and artists and international institutions (such as for artist Qiu Zhijie’s participation in the 2013 Venice Biennale).
