* Conducted gap analysis for new recruiter hires, while interpreting data to create our first New Hire Integration plan. * Integrated six new recruiters using the New Hire Integration Plan by providing tools and operating rhythm to better drive their business. * The aforementioned Integration Plan was rolled out across 14 Offices in our Mid-Atlantic Region * Coordinated with various levels of management to conduct bi-weekly evaluation meetings during the 13 week training period using quantitative (input/output), qualitative (behavioral) and subjective (feedback from peers) data, and Core Competency activities.

Surveyed other Virginia agency’s health programs that were using ASQ-SE as an instrument for screening the developmental progress in children prior to age 3. My research was used as a reference to restructure Smart Beginnings of Shenandoah Valley Health 2012 strategies to meet the expectation of the 2013 strategic plan. Conducted research on the benefits of a healthy lifestyle for preschoolers and their success in school. I synthesized my research into a PowerPoint format for my supervisor to use in a community health awareness presentation. Participated in collaborative efforts with supervisor in assessing and implementing new programs and funding to further identify and implement long-term strategies for improving school readiness in infants to age five. Composed nutrition health questionnaires for infants and toddlers that was later implemented by another intern

* Participated in collaborative efforts to take legislative action and policy implementation ranging from revising the Maryland Greenhouse Gas Act to establishing a children’s environmental health report. * Assisted the director, steering committee, and members of the Network by developing monthly meeting agendas, gathering necessary materials and helping to facilitate. * Wrote a concise analysis of Network Participation for stakeholders and created a computerized attendance database, via Excel, that consolidated members of the network into different sectors. * Established new members and stakeholders through community outreach
