Sarah Samuel

At adidas, Sarah leads the HR function for the newly established GBS Hub in Chennai and Gurgaon, India. In her current role, she leads People Partners, Talent Acquisition and Learning teams. Since its launch in 2023, Sarah was responsible for the green field set up and scale up of the adidas GCC pan India, 10 to over 500 employees focusing on Finance, HRS, Enablement and Procurement Operations. Collaborating closely with senior global leadership in Germany, Portugal, China and Columbia, she has driven organization mandates on setting up new location, restructuring, post-merger integration, cost optimization, org design, workforce planning, benefit harmonization, high-performance frameworks, and policy design to support sustainable growth and inclusion. Before adidas, she established Dataiku India as a development center, recruiting specialized teams to address the growing AI and data science markets. She has demonstrated expertise in global HR strategy, program implementation, and cross-functional collaboration working closely with APAC leadership in Singapore and Europe teams in France to land the concept of the Dataiku India center value proposition . With 14 + years of experience as a progressive HR Business leader, she has been recognized by the Economic Times HR Emerging Leaders League 2025 and FoxStory India’s 100 Influential Femmes 2024, for her strategic vision and ability to build high-impact teams in dynamic, multicultural environments.
