I am a second-year student at the University of Maryland, College Park, majoring in Government and Politics with a concentration in American government and a minor in history. My primary skills are public speaking, interpersonal communication, academic writing, and organizational leadership. I have a strong interest in the intersection of the legal system and federal government, especially concerning constitutional or administrative law. Federal Fellows is an invitational one-year program with a fall seminar in a policy concentration taught by industry experts and an internship in the spring semester. I am a member of the Homeland and National Security Policy concentration, where my professor is the current Deputy National Intelligence Manager for Africa. In my course, I have extensively studied counterterrorism policy, the intelligence community, and cybersecurity, as well as various other aspects of the homeland security field. I also researched and developed a three-page policy memo concerning the United States' response to Chinese policy towards North Korean nuclear programs.
