As a pharmacist and pharmacological researcher my ultimate aim is to improve quality of life and disease treatment by optimizing drug discovery and development. As cAMP elevation represents one of the therapeutical approaches used in asthma and COPD, unraveling the properties of Epac in the airways might provide new insights into the mechanisms of action of the current medications.
