My life objective: contribute to build more sustainable world. I am currently working for the EU Commission in the Bio-economy, Sustainable Resources Directorate at the DG Joint Research Centre (Italy). I am a senior sustainable development expert, with years of experience both in the private and government sectors. My expertise’s are in Carbon footprint, Chemicals, Food diet and Food waste, Ecolabel, Ecological Footprint, etc. and of course managing complex projects in multicultural environment. I have been also an entrepreneur and created my own science consulting company during 5 years (turn over > 700 KCHF and up to 6 employees). I also co-founded ‘Biocomp-Nepa’l, a socially and environmentally responsible private company based in Kathmandu. In partnership with the Swiss organisation ‘myclimate’, we managed to qualified for Gold Standard in the Voluntary Emission Reduction market and won UNFCCC price for the lighthouse activities at the Doha COP18. I can bring visionary leadership, great communication skills, and a huge professional network from private and public institutions.

After 7 years in the safety and regulatory department, I moved to P&G headquarter for western Europe to provide public relation strategic counselling to various business (cleaning, food and paper). This entailed building brand reputation via sound science and listening to public concerns. During that time, I continued my previous mission as manager of P&G global science communication platform and stakeholder engagement. I have created the concept of ‘Science in the box’ back in 2002 after several years of stakeholder dialogue. With more than 4 millions pages viewed, this website has broken new ground in communicating science in transparent and meaningful way. In 2003, P&G has extended this concept to our beauty care and policy department: www.pgbeautyscience.com and www.pgperspectives.com . I led the development of these 2 new platforms

Biocomp-Nepal is a socially and environmentally responsible private company based in Kathmandu, which recycle organic waste into compost to help local farmers moved to organic farming. Biocomp aims to demonstrate that green economy is not just a concept. Biocomp-Nepal company is a Gold Standard approved project for carbon credit compensation, runs in partnership with myclimate, and has been recognized by UNFCCC in 2012 in Doha as a 'Momentum for change lighthouse activities'.
