At the age of 12, when I saw the biographical film 'Jobs' based on the life of Steve Jobs, I was inspired by his words, 'Everybody should know how to program a computer, because it teaches you how to think!', and I started dreaming of becoming a Programmer. Since then, whenever my teacher asked me what I wanted to become when I grow up, I always said, "A software engineer." Hello! My name is Sanya Zaveri, and as you might have guessed by now I am currently working as a Software Engineer at PhonePe. I've been intrigued by Web Development, and have used different tech stacks to build my projects. I have experimented with Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning as well because I am always looking forward to expanding my skill set and learning new technologies in different domains. I subsequently became acquainted with the open source community and had the opportunity to take part in Girl Script Summer Of Code and work on some fascinating problems. Along with that I had a chance to research on an interesting problem like 'Simulating the DFT algorithm using Fourier Transform' in my Linear Algebra Course. I have been able to maintain a decent score of 8.75/10 in a highly competitive institution. I have been grinding Data Structures and Algorithms to develop strong problem solving skills and have been able to solve more than 550 problems on Leetcode. Volunteering and working in teams during projects, competitions and college events has helped me to inculcate qualities like leadership, hard work and consistency, and it has made me a better communicator. With such a strong foundation I am all set to showcase my talent in the real world and am looking forward to learn, grow and become a better person.
