The scanner saved approximately $3k USD per month in its first week of implementation. - I influenced all stream-aligned teams by conducting presentations and hands-on workshops on new technologies during guild meetings. As a Stream-Aligned Software Engineer: - I reduced the integration time for partner real estate ads on www.loft.com.br from days to seconds. - I increased the number of listings successfully published by 70%. This accomplishment was achieved by simplifying our software, addressing engineering practices and improving technology choices, rectifying "our-side" errors, and providing prompt feedback to clients regarding "their-side" errors. - I discontinued several applications that no longer fulfill the newer company's needs, resulting in significant savings. - Helped building and influenced Unified Portfolio, one of the company B2B products. I worked architecturing and developing The-Flash, a system which lowered the time the company took to integrated lead acquisition with partners from 1~2 months to 1~2 weeks. The system syncronizes new and old data with CRM tools (Pipedrive, Dinamize and Salesforce) and data engineering department. It also had builtin monitoring, which solved a problem with the legacy system: losting leads because system errors. Technologies I've worked with: - AWS - Kafka - Redis - MongoDB - PostgreSQL - Docker and Kubernetes - OpenTelemetry, using OpenSearch as traces backend (the ElasticSearch open-source version) - CRM tools apis: Pipedrive, Dinamize and Salesforce - FastAPI. The APIs were mainly built with FastAPI, because the excelent performance and time-to-build. - Python. I built installable packages, apis and event consumers. All components used the language most advanced and performant features, like asyncio and api-call caching. The code base had high test coverage as consequence of several use-case tests.

Working in the theoretical magnetism group, as undergraduate and later as MSc student, I was responsible for elaborating and producing physics research in magnetism using advanced quantum mechanics formalism, and python to tackle the resulting equations. Magnetic materials are a potential replace for electronic transistors. As electronic transistors are too small nowadays, the insulating barrier they depend on is also small. This dependency poses a minimum-length limit for transistors, since the barrier is responsible for the transistor’s logic).
