I had been part of Zapak since inception and heading the software engineering unit responsible for architecture/development of distributed scalable services, portals and taking advantage of cloud services to reduce infrastructure TCO. Was also a part of the core group giving inputs to the direction and areas of interest.

Being part of a leading Indian online portal with over 50 odd channels was an experience in diversified domains like SAP, Content management systems, Content delivery systems, Times Trends, distributed photo sizing services, offline classified insertion services to name a few. I was the Tech lead of SAP project, involved in implementing CRM, BIW and EP-SS portal in the last year at Times.

After undergoing SAP ABAP certification, joined L&TITL as tech consultant involved in offshore projects.

Worked at Scottish Gas Power, Glasgow, Scotland for an year developing services on Oracle and Pro*C. Responsible for working on the main Bill generation software and interfacing with local agents for bill tax customization falling under local county laws. Initial six months contract was extended to an yearly contract, two months after starting work.

Was part of the team at Singapore Network Services, Singapore on Ediman Internet project which was a forerunner in facilitating online trading of parts and services between various companies. Interacted with Oracle support team on the Oracle WebServer platform, worked on Pro*C platform to write lightweight daemon process. The anticipated year long project was finished in six months, earning early development bonuses.

Worked in teams to develop Financial systems, Production control systems as products, was responsible for development of the underlying platform and subsequent customization for clients.
