About

As a third year student at Georgia Tech majoring in Industrial Engineering with a concentration in Economics and Financial systems and a minor in psychology, I am excited to start my career in Finance. With experience as an M&A intern and Corporate Finance intern, I have developed a strong foundation in analyzing financial statements, creating M&A valuation models, and conducting VMO reviews. I am also proficient in Excel, Powerpoint, Python, and Java. As an individual with a keen attention to detail and continual curiosity to learn, I am committed to producing high-quality work and viewing every opportunity as a learning opportunity. I am also a staunch advocate for increased mental health education for youth and always look for different avenues to support this cause. I am passionate about engaging in some form of civic engagement, specifically through developing and leading various initiatives. I am eager to connect with finance professionals, as well as those who are passionate about community services to explore new opportunities for development and perhaps even the intersection between my two interests. I’d love to connect!

As an assistant advisor for the National Hope Squad Council I help facilitate monthly meetings for the 30 members on the Hope Squad National Council. During these monthly meetings I help plan activities and projects that advocate for increased mental health education in schools. One such project is the Hope Squad National Conference, which is couple hour conference held by the National Council with various presentations and activities regarding mental health awareness. This conference is then disseminated and viewed by the 50,000 Hope Squad members in the nation. I have worked on three of these conferences and have facilitated two of them. As the assistant advisor I also organize and lead monthly Connect Calls that are open to all of the 50,000 Hope Squad members to attend. These calls focus on connecting Hope Squad members across the nation and discuss important topics related to mental health. As a marketing intern, I conduct brand audits and work with Hope Squad partners to ensure that the Hope Squad brand is being accurately reflected.

As a Mergers and Acquisitions Intern I worked on developing valuation models based on a company's financial statements, for over 10 companies, as part of First American's acquisition activities. These models were then analyzed to determine whether to proceed with a company's acquisition. I learned how to evaluate and analyze a company's financial statements including balance sheet, income statement, and cash flow statement. I also sat on a handful of acquisition calls to understand buyer and seller motivation and gain more exposure to reasoning behind M&A functions. I also created 2 preliminary DCF models. In corporate finance, I worked on projects including VMO reviews of high risk vendors, auditing of First American's Q3 earnings call script, and creating dashboards via Excel to organize data stored in Hyperion in an effective and accessible manner. I also put together a powerpoint comparing First American to its 3 major competitors through analysis of each company's financial statements.
