 Embedded software development for Cisco ASR9000 Aggregation Services Router. Developing software for Cisco’s next generation network processor, Quantum Flow Processor(QFP). Worked on networking features: o Multicast Label Distribution Protocol (mLDP). The specification is documented in RFC 6388. o Multicast VPN (MVPN) IPV4/IPV6. MVPN carries multicast traffic across a shared service provider network interconnecting multiple sites. It is analogous to the MPLS L3 VPN that provids a secure way to transport the customer traffic across the core network. o Virtual Private LAN Service(VPLS) a VPN technology that enables Ethernet multipoint services over a packet-switched network infrastructures using a virtual circuit or pseudo wire. o Virtual Private Wire Service (VPWS) utilizing point to point AToM pseudo wires(PWs) and local switching of various Attachment Circuit types – Ethernet(port, VLAN,QiniQ, QinAny), Frame Relay DLCI etc.  Embedded software development for Cisco ASR1000 centralized Routing Platform (ASR1000) used for service providers. Developing software for Cisco’s next generation network processor (QFP). Worked on networking features: o Point to point EoMPLS and local switching of Ethernet ACs. Interworking between VLANs for dot1Q, dot1AD, QinQ and Ethernet port. o Flexible Packet Matching A filtering mechanism to block malicious packets. It provides a flexible L2-L7 stateless classification criteria based on any protocol, any field of the traffic’s protocol stack.  Embedded software development for Cisco C10000 Edge Service Router Platform (C10K) . Worked on Line card development and networking features: o IOS Pseudo-Preemption Support for Bidirectional Forwarding Detection(BFD) o MPLS-TrafficEngineering Fast Reroute (FRR) Link Protection Support on various Line Cards. o 4 port STM-1 SONET/SDH Line card (Toblerone) o Single port Channelized OC12 Line card (Chocholate) with channelizations down to DS0

 Embedded software development in WAN group to develop new features for Notel BayRS router. Projects include: o Designed and developed End to End Frame Relay Multilink feature based on Frame Relay Implementation agreement that provides a standard method to appregate bandwidth of a set of Frame Relay lines into one logical unit know as a bundle. o Designed and developed RFC2115 project “Management Information Base for Frame RelayDTEs using SMIv2” to enhance BayRS router access to objects defined in RFC2115. o Developed and support IPEX a X.25 service tunneling over TCP/IP internet.

 Developed new features for a high performance multiprotocol LAN switch as well as performance test and Modification Request resolutions.

 design and develop a standalone graphical Weather Radar Retrieval System which is a receiver and display system to provide weather services the connection to the WSR-88D weather radar via X.25 Link

 Served as technical consultant to research State-of-art information technology and provide leading edge technical information to corporate managers.

 Designed and developed X.25 Communication Controllers on various telecommunications processors to conform to latest X.25 CCITT recommendations.
