Own responsibility for purchase orders from initiation to payment reconciliation for assigned product segments in support of Manufacturing • Analyze existing stock levels, customer orders, and forecasts and process purchase orders accordingly in a timely fashion, in coordination with the Business Unit leader and other team members. • Manage the RFQ process, obtaining and reviewing quotes for up-to-date costs, lead times and competitiveness. Negotiate when appropriate. • Communicate with suppliers on status of open orders, needed expedites or schedule changes, and keep the internal system updated. • Monitor supplier performance and resolve any issues or concerns promptly • Maintain cost files from suppliers, specifications, and other records as assigned. Supply Chain Administrative Support • Assist in keeping data in the ERP system up to date, complete, and accurate • Other tasks as assigned by the Purchasing Manager
